Bio Balls have a Speific Surface Area of around 500-700 m2/m3. Bioballs are thus an efficient biofiltration media that promotes high density colonization of beneficial bacteria. 

Beneficial bacteria convert toxic ammonia and nitites into nitrates and help maintain good quality clean water within your pond or tank.

 

Each bag contains approximately 162 balls and weighs around 2Kg
